After nearly 10 Years, the impact of what happened at Columbine High School still stands out as one of the worst tragedies prior to 9/11.

But the faithful acts of one young lady, show how Christians can live in the world but shine for Christ while walking through it. A new publication of Rachel's Tears has been released, it includes new interviews and a foreword by Chuck & Gena Norris. Together Darrell Scott and Beth Nimmo, Rachel Scott's parents, share their daughter Rachel with the reader.

They tell us about the connections Rachel made with the lonely and downtrodden, the public confessions of faith she displayed and her deepening search for more of God and less of Rachel.

With the straight forwardness of witnessing that Rachel had while she lived, the triumph of Christ crucified is boldly told in this testimony of a young woman who knew she would touch the hearts and lives of many, but never in life realizing how.

There is some repetition of events and activities that Rachel participated in. This is mostly due to the fact that the book is written by each parent's separate view point, as well as others close to Rachel. Also the book is labeled as a "Juvenile Fiction/Biography & Autobiography/Religious" Book. There are recounts of the events as they occurred that could be quite disturbing to tweens or teens if they read this. Please be sure to either read it with your children or be available to them if they are troubled by some of the accounts.
