What is unique about this nutritional drink over the rest of the ones you can pick off the shelf, is that it contains probiotics; which are live, active cultures that--when consumed in adequate amounts--provide several health benefits, including aiding digestion and supporting a healthy immune system. In an effort to get the healthiest foods into my daughter's body, I've become very careful at checking ingredients in products. BOOST Kid Essentials Drink tops my list because it doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup to aid in flavoring. It is also lactose and gluten free, which is a relief for parents who are looking for a nutritional supplement for children who may have dairy or wheat allergies.
The packages are spill resistant and easy to grip, which is great for little and big kids. The only problem we found is that the packaging for the straw is not that easy to open. Out of the three drinks that Genius consumed she was only able to open the straw herself once, and the two that I opened, I even had trouble with. That may be a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it. It might be a good thing, because your kids are going to love this drink and they are going to want to have them all the time!
